Murals are defined as paintings, drawings or other form of art that is applied to a utilitarian surface such as a wall, or other reasonably permanent structure. They can be indoors or out, and any size or shape. My mural work started with painting kitchen cupboards, and now include walls and other surfaces of my home.
One suggested method of creating large murals is to paint them in sections on separate surfaces such as masonite or marine grade plywood, then fasten them to a wall or other surface. In that way, the work can travel with you should you move. If one section needs repair, you can remove only the affected section and not have to truck the whole work around.
The works shown here are in no particular
