Bruce Springsteen
One of a series of paintings about singers and players . . .
No one wearing a shirt and blue jeans is more recognizable than Bruce
Springsteen. He sells out concert halls on a rumour; in real life,
within 10 minutes. Unless I pick up super powers along the way, I'll
never be fast enough to buy a Bruce Springsteen ticket.
Ah well . . .
He's called Blue Bruce here as he is painted in various tones
of ultramarine blue, along with dashes of white and Payne's Gray. It seemed a good choice in light of his casual, almost working man attire: he would look so out of place in a suit somehow.
